Before Zhiyuan initiated this Web App project, she independently conducted an empirical research investigating the influence of music and vocabulary learning materials matched or mismatched (in terms of their emotional valence) on vocabulary learning outcomes. According to the results, using emotionally congruent music and English words has the potential of facilitating vocabulary acquisition.
